Pregnant women have a unique beauty about them and Sarah loves being able to capture this wonder of motherhood for them to remember forever. Maternity portraits capture not only a meaningful portrait of the new mother, but almost always the first picture in the new baby's photo album. To show off the true curves of pregnancy, the best time is around 35 weeks, however you can schedule your portrait any time from around 30 weeks, or when you feel comfortable.

Momentz Photography has a studio available for maternity portraits although some mothers prefer the privacy and comforts of home for their photo session, and I am happy to travel to you with our mobile studio within the Auckland area. You may also wish to have yourself photographed along with your husband/partner or your other children.

You need not buy an expensive outfit for your maternity photo session, something plain and comfortable will do. I also have black and white material available for maternity wraps, along with various sheer materials etc. The style of maternity portraits is very personal and can be done fully clothed or less so. However you choose to pose is entirely up to you and what you feel comfortable with, I will also help you with a bit of direction where needed.

All maternity portraits are photographed by Sarah only.


MUMMY TO BE COLLECTION

Maternity session includes :
- Approx 1 hour photography session taken in our studio or at a location of your choice.
- Approx 50 images as high resolution digital negatives on CD.
- Includes black & white, sepia & colour editing.


MUMMY TO BE + NEW BABY COLLECTION

This package incorporates the above maternity session, plus an additional portrait session once your new bub is born to capture those precious first moments. It is recommended to book your newborn session before your baby is 2-3 weeks old. We are flexible with location and time - working around your baby's timetable, ie feeds, nappy changes etc.

Newborn session includes :
- Approx 1 hour photography session taken in our studio or at your home
- Approx 50 images as high resolution digital negatives on CD.
- Includes black & white, sepia & colour editing.

Momentz Photography are also able to recommend makeup artists for your session should you wish to have hair & makeup done. Please let us know if you would like a quote.

All portrait sessions require a 50% non refundable retaner to secure the date/time booked and the balance is payable on or before the day of the photo shoot.
